those bombs dropped on hiroshima and nagasaki were incredibly evil - worse than evil. they exploded with the heat of the sun, with the rage of hell. those bombs vaporized people - they simply went up in smoke. a mother told of a small boy who reached up to catch a red dragonfly against the blue sky. there was a blinding flash and the boy disappeared. whole families disappeared as though they never were. loved ones, friends, human beings left behind their shadows on the sidewalks.
